We tried the beef with broccoli recipe (with stir fry veggies instead of just broccoli) and it was a hit! We had gymnastics, so I asked hubby and the 8 year old to make dinner. Hubby found the easy simple and quick and we all want to make it again.
The rest of the workouts flew by. We did a lot of zoom calls on Saturday mornings to do our cardio flow workouts together. They are SO much better with friends.
After 80 Days, I learned to prioritize sleep and practice self-care. I fell in love with my foam roller and stretching and made it a part of my weekly schedule. Sometimes it’s not about the before and after pictures, it’s about learning how to improve yourself and be your best self.
The results were pretty awesome.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen some carving on the front of my core!
I wish I got a quarter for every time a busy mom tells me how tired she is, how she wants to feel good again, how she needs to lose the baby weight, but how she doesn’t have time. Time is so fleeting as a mom. There’s always house stuff and kids stuff and laundry and work (inside and outside of the house!)
I totally feel the time crunch. So I went on Beachbody On Demand and made a list of all the workouts around 20 minutes or less. Most kids will watch a half hour PBS show, so mom can sweat a little. I thought there would be a few but there was actually 100! So many options!!
Saturday mornings are soccer mornings but I got in Dynamic Strength before we had to go. This is the last move of the 47 min workout. 440 burned is amazing for me.
So glad to have Hydrate to get through these workouts.
This morning was nuts. I had a mommy meeting in the city and had to wake the kids up 2 hours early. I almost skipped my workout but opted to go sweaty and happy than grumpy and clean.
This is the ultimate busy mom bottle. Coconut milk, cafe latte, coconut extract and focused energy. Delicious and perfect nutrition to go.
Yay! I had played with the delivery schedule last year and ended up with 2 deliveries one month and nothing the next so I had to wait another 12 months from then for this. #swag
Down 2.8lbs this week so far. I’ll be up a bit tomorrow after a dinner out with hubby’s boss but that’s part of life.
All the prep was done and it was time to dance! More than a few of us want to add to the program (I need more weights, I want the deluxe workouts, I’m going to double up, etc.) I decided and committed to do this round start to finish as written. I am focused on burning off fat and leaning out and super excited this is high intensity and low impact.
Not a bad burn! I’ll take it. And it was fun. And I am sweaty!
Woke up today to write my recap. Down 1.8lbs overnight from 1 day of containers. WIN!
Today’s the day! Today is the first day in the new 18 month Erin Condren Life Planner. Even though this is my 3rd one, I still get planner paralysis. It’s so beautiful and new and full of possibilities.
Top: Vertical 2016 life planner, Bottom: new 2016-2017 neutral horizontal life planner
I like getting the new 18 mo planner even if I have one that lasts through the end of this year because it becomes a mid year fresh start. What are my goals? Why do I have them? How am I doing with them?
I switched layouts from vertical (after 2 years!) to horizontal in an attempt to try something new, use my brain a different way, and see if it will work better for my busy life. Now I’m paralyzed. Afraid to do something “wrong” and mess it up. It’s totally silly. Time to get past the fear and love every bit of this planner, what it will help me do, what it will help me record, and the sanity it brings to momlife.
