Even with a relaxed weekend, I’m still down net 2 lbs in 1 week. I’ll take it.
Sundays are always super busy for us. We have church then lunch then shopping for the week.

Finally while hubby was at soccer we got in our Sunday stretch workout.
Saturday mornings are soccer mornings but I got in Dynamic Strength before we had to go. This is the last move of the 47 min workout. 440 burned is amazing for me.
So glad to have Hydrate to get through these workouts.
Down 3.2lbs in the 6 days. Winning.
This morning was nuts. I had a mommy meeting in the city and had to wake the kids up 2 hours early. I almost skipped my workout but opted to go sweaty and happy than grumpy and clean.
This is the ultimate busy mom bottle. Coconut milk, cafe latte, coconut extract and focused energy. Delicious and perfect nutrition to go.
Yay! I had played with the delivery schedule last year and ended up with 2 deliveries one month and nothing the next so I had to wait another 12 months from then for this. #swag
Down 2.8lbs this week so far. I’ll be up a bit tomorrow after a dinner out with hubby’s boss but that’s part of life.
Major plus: I can breathe. What??? Yeah. I can breathe. It’s a big deal.
Last week when I first tried out yesterday’s workout, I could not breathe without feeling every rib move. It was painful. Sore is satisfying but this was a new level. Super glad to be able to breathe without issues after doing dynamic strength again.
Today I added the 5 min abs. It was plank city. By the afternoon I could feel some sensitivity in the area! Win!
I love using the containers as to go snacks.
Lost 1.4 overnight. The scale does not define me, but it does define my insulin resistance. I want to lose another 10.
My fasting blood sugar was 20 points lower than it had been. That’s a huge indicator that this is working!
I was feeling anxious after the workout so I made myself a tropical Shakeology and looked at flights for the Hard Rock Punta Cana trip in April.
Had some yummy Nom Nom Paleo burgers for dinner. Delicious.
Ready for the election to be over so we can figure out what’s next.
I’ve felt bad I’m not blogging regularly but have committed to only do things in my happy place. Core De Force is my happy place. I ordered it last week when it launched and have been playing with the workouts before official starting today.
I always make my challengers take new pictures. So glad I did. It was good to see the 6 day change even without the meal plan.
I was worried about being in the lowest bracket for food again. I’m feeling full and getting in my 10 cups of water a day.
So today is supposed to be day 30. Last week was our annual trip to Oahu and I did NOT stick to containers. I’ll probably add a week of country heat before the Beachbody Health Bet challenge that starts Monday.
Last week was fun and my mini-me did a lot of the dances with me.
On Friday morning, I got a call at 3:30 and another at 4:40 from my friend at work who had just done my mammogram 2 weeks ago. The backstory is that I’m 35 with a good family history of breast cancer so they did my baseline mammo early. I half expected something to show up but they said it was fine. Now the doc did a second read and could I come in Monday for additional views and maybe an ultrasound. 😳
I lasted 2 hours holding it in, then had to tell E. Thoughts like “what if this is my last trip?” and “how would I play with the girls differently if it is cancer?”ran through my head. Also thoughts like, “it’s going to be ok. Our team will take care of it, and you might get implants for your trouble!” 😂
I’m glad to report that the follow up views came back fine and I don’t have to come back for 5 years.
I wanted to hold on to that perspective though. If I did have limited time what would I do differently?
Tuesday’s are add on Dance Conditioning day. I’m really liking the doubles and don’t struggle to fit in both. Today was a busy errand day. Got a lot done as we get ready for vacation.
I’ve loosened my containers a bit since the weekend and see it on the scale. A bit too much cheese and corn tortilla chips and I’m gaining instead of losing. It’s crazy how the extra salt and different foods change results. I’ve also been eating mostly tomatoes for my veggies and think I need to diversify. Still sitting at my goal weight number. I’d like to drop 5-10 more but we will see what my body says.
Here’s my time trick. I KonMari fold my workout clothes and pair the sports bras and shorts together in the fold. Because of shorts’ waistbands I alternate them top and bottom so they fit better in my drawer. Then in the morning I don’t waste time to find sets, I just grab and go. So much easier.
